
Workday Systems Specialist – Payroll

- Configure and support Workday Payroll, Absence, Core HCM, Talent/Performance, and Compensation modules to meet business and compliance needs.
- Design, document, test, and implement functional tasks and enhancements, focusing on automation, continuous improvement, and self-service.
- Develop and maintain payroll and audit reports, support year-end processing, and ensure timely and accurate data extraction.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve errors.
- Research new Workday features, recommend updates, and ensure system documentation, training, and user support are up to date.
- Over 3 years of experience configuring Workday US Payroll, Absence, and at least one additional area (Core HCM, Compensation, or Talent).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity, issue resolution, and reporting accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver solutions efficiently, and support system releases and upgrades.
- Effective collaboration skills, with a strong customer service mindset and ability to partner across HR, IT, and business teams.
- Proven ability to deliver scalable system solutions aligned with business needs, compliance standards, and governance policies.
