Salary: $20.05/hourJoin a place where history meets naturePerched at the top of Mont Gabriel in Sainte-Adèle, our hotel is a unique destination where employees create unforgettable experiences for our guests while working in a warm and inspiring environment.Mont Gabriel is part of the Tidan Hospitality Group, headquartered in Montreal, and operates under the Tribute Portfolio (Marriott) brand.Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the Reservations and Front Desk Agent is responsible for handling reservations by phone and online, welcoming guests, informing them about the services offered within the property, ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions in the computer system, and processing required payments. The agent also informs guests about the various attractions in the region. The employee may also be asked to train colleagues and participate in training sessions.Your Responsibilities
- Plan reservations in advance via email and/or telephone
- Manage room availability in real time using reservation software and adjust rates accordingly
- Handle individual and group reservation activities
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs while following the hotel’s administrative procedures
- Inform guests about the services offered at our property as well as cultural, gastronomic, and other activities available in the city or region
- Take direct reservations and verify reservations from different booking platforms
- Follow the hotel’s standards, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate room availability with the housekeeping department
- Manage a front desk cash float
- Perform any other related duties as required

- Diploma in hotel front desk operations or at least one year of hotel front desk experience
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent command of French and English
- Strong communication skills and a talent for customer service
- Professional appearance
- Demonstrates patience, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and discretion
- Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent customer service
- Flexible schedule – availability during the day, evening, and weekends
- Bilingualism (spoken and written French and English) is required for this position, as we serve an international clientele.
