Agilus is recruiting for a Sr Manager DevOps Platform & Engineering in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing a DevOps platform engineering team and managing a diverse portfolio of tools, including CI/CD, code quality, and security platforms. The individual will act as the primary owner of key DevOps applications, leading the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient engineering platforms. The role also involves strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and hands-on architecture work to support both development and operational teams. You will:
  • Strong experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise (self-hosted), Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Harness, SonarQube, and feature flag management
  • Familiarity with security and quality tools such as BlackDuck and Checkmarx One (SCA/SAST)
  • Proven background in architecting and maintaining DevSecOps platforms at scale
  • Experience in managing platform roadmaps, software upgrades, and infrastructure alignment
  • Ability to consolidate and manage budgets, forecasts, and project plans
  • Track record of resolving escalated issues, managing risk, and ensuring platform reliability

An ideal candidate has:
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure leadership roles
  • Hands-on expertise with a variety of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, JFrog Artifactory, Harness, and SonarQube
  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices, including secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, and SCA/SAST tools like BlackDuck and Checkmarx One
  • Strong architectural background with the ability to design scalable and resilient systems
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and leading tool evaluations or migrations
  • A track record of successfully delivering platform roadmaps and aligning technical strategies with organizational goals
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts between departments or partner organizations
