As a Senior Operational Risk Advisor within Desjardins Group’s second line of defence, you act as a risk management collaborator with the business sector’s first line of defence, which is dedicated to monitoring non-financial risks and supporting decision-making. You’re a recognized leader in operational risk management, with the ability to oversee the end-to-end production and analysis of quarterly operational risk reports. You independently manage complex files and facilitate clear and structured discussions with internal partners. Your role in the second line of defence gives you the opportunity to strategically influence the development of the organization’s risk management practices. Your ability to explain and summarize complex issues at the executive level is an important part of this role. You use your interpersonal skills to build and maintain trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Your strategic vision, your team spirit and your eagerness to take on new challenges in a rapidly improving environment are all key qualities.
