One specialist will work a Monday-Friday schedule, while the other will work Thursday-Monday to ensure seamless coverage seven days a week.Whether you're new to the finance industry and eager to learn, or you bring prior experience and want to share your expertise, this is an opportunity to be part of a friendly, easy-going team that values accuracy, teamwork, and continuous growth. You'll thrive here if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can keep cool under pressure, and take pride in delivering precise, detail-driven work.Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:
  • Perform daily reconciliations by comparing bank transactions to merchant records.
  • Create merchant reports using financial data and custom in-house software.
  • Calculate merchant fees using transaction data and merchant contracts.
  • Communicating, monitoring, and adhering to financial controls and policies.
  • Building strong, cross-functional working relationships with other departments.
  • Preparing bank files as required.
  • Performing other financial and administrative duties as needed.
  • Cross-training within the finance group to support other functions.
  • Corresponding with merchants as required.
Education:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
Experience:
  • 1+ years in an administrative or customer service role required.
  • Accounting support or accounts receivable experience is an asset.
Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Team player.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Accountable and dependable.
Base Salary: $50,000 – $55,000
  • Salary based on experience.
  • Full benefits package included.
Work Hours:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • 7:30am – 4:00pm.
  • Monday to Friday and Thursday to Monday shift available.
Remote Work:
  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
Additional Notes:
  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
