- reviewing and challenging concentration risk identification framework (including any metrics) in coordination with risk and business management
- monitoring existing and emerging concentration risks to develop relevant concentration risk driven narrative for Senior Management (monthly) and to the Citi/CBNA Board (quarterly) reports
- Risk Assessment and Identification - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, considering both internal and external factors to identify material / emerging concentration risks, evaluate their potential impact, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Risk Analysis and Communication - Prepare clear, concise, and compelling concentration risk analysis within the Wholesale Credit Risk to be shared with senior management and the Board
- Credit Approval - Lead review and challenge of transaction approvals with a focus on concentration risk implications
- Regulatory Compliance - Prior experience of with implementation of frameworks related to OCC's Heightened Standard is extremely desirable. Knowledge of regulatory requirements around management of Concentration Risks at large banks is required
- Prepare high-quality materials for senior management, board-level committees, audits, and regulatory communication, while ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the information presented.
- Adherence to Policy and Procedures - Ensure all monitoring and reporting procedures align with ECRM risk policies and work effectively with individual business risk policies as they pertain to ECRM
- 10+ years of experience
- Familiarity with Portfolio Management within Wholesale Credit Risk. Experience in transaction approval highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and practices, particularly in relation to risk appetite frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, oversee, and execute complex programs involving a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in leading the execution of risk management or transformation programs.
- Familiarity with coordinating day-to-day program activities and managing working groups and stakeholder meetings.
- Proficiency in preparing high-quality materials for senior management, board-level committees, audits, and regulatory communication.
- Experience in partnering with internal teams to deliver program requirements and manage issue resolution.
- Proven capability to escalate program risks as appropriate.
- Experience in supporting regulatory and audit reviews at various levels.
- Strong leadership and management skills to drive transformation efforts and lead complex programs.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess and manage risks associated with the Concentration, risk appetite and Limits frameworks.
- Superior communication and collaboration skills for working with a wide range of stakeholders and conveying information effectively to senior management and board-level committees.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and coordinating program activities and stakeholder meetings.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare high-quality materials for audits and regulatory communication.
