
Senior Electronics Engineer

- Lead the design and development of embedded electronic systems, including PCBs and power boards.
- Define and manage system requirements and specifications.
- Review and approve schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate across engineering and operations teams to meet system and project goals.
- Support field testing and operational deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project planning and cost estimation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal policies, and QinetiQ values.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded electronics design and debugging.
- Proficiency in tools like Altium and platforms such as PowerPC, STM32, and x86.
- Familiarity with avionics, marine, or military systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electronic schematics and system design.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Experience with configuration management and test equipment (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes).
- Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Eligible for Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance.
- This position involves work on the factory floor and participation in field testing, requiring a high level of situational awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
