- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, access points and VPNs.
- Design and implement network solutions to meet organizational requirements.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement and enforce network security measures, including access controls and intrusion detection systems.
- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
- Configure and optimize network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other network administrator.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices related to networking.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or cybersecurity roles.
- You have several years of experience in information security, demonstrating a strong understanding of security principles and technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing network security solutions.
- Certification in Fortinet NSE 4 or equivalent Fortinet Network Security Professional (FNSP) certification.
- Proficiency in Linux operating system administration and shell scripting (intermediate level).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining network security best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity, emerging threats, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in French to support interactions with French-speaking clients or colleagues.
