- Maintain the cloud infrastructure required to ensure the proper function of applications and continuous development practices;
- Monitor and analyze system and network performance (virtual and physical) and provide expertise-based recommendations as necessary;
- Plan, write and maintain technical documentation for networks and systems, and act as a resource-person for delivery and development teams;
- Ensure the robustness of systems in terms of availability, redundancy and backup. Check backups and ensure environments can be brought back online in the expected timeframes;
- Secure networks and servers to preserve data;
- Monitor cloud infrastructure trends and developments to ensure IT offerings are up to date;
- Act as a data custodian for system owner information and of cost, by leveraging available reporting tools;
- Support the IT Enterprise Architect in the deployment of cloud infrastructure.
- College or university diploma in computer science;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a cloud systems administrator;
- Experience in automation, cloud product management (Azure, AWS or GCP) or any other relevant IT experience in a collaborative DevOps environment;
- Good understanding of cybersecurity and its ramifications in a cloud context;
- Problem solve using various methods, tools (observability), and technologies;
- Microsoft Azure certification and any other certification in networking, servers and IT security would be a major asset.
