
Project Manager, IT

- Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Define project success criteria and communicate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Drive project teams through the project phases to meet milestones.
- Manage risks, opportunities, changes and conflict resolution within projects.
- Create project budgets and forecasts.
- Work closely with IT Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Perform administrative tasks related to the projects such as: booking meetings, creating agendas, meeting minutes, preparing presentations and documentation.
- Work with the team to develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management and share with the PMO Team
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members
- Conduct project lessons learned and provide recommendations in order to recognize successes and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information technology or other pertinent fields
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Strong English written and spoken communication skills for collaboration with project sponsors, stakeholders’ colleagues and third parties
- French spoken communication
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and timelines
- Knowledge of Sharepoint and Smartsheet
- E1/JDE experience would be an asset
- PMI certification is considered an asset
- Collaborative leadership, exceptional influence and interpersonal skills.
- Have an open mind
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
