- Cook and prepare various foods by following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Prepare the daily menu.
- Manage kitchen activities (staff, inventory, placing orders as needed).
- Be able to respond to operational needs.
- Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
- Ensure high quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- A culinary diploma or equivalent experience is an asset.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
- Strong culinary foundation is an asset.
- Experience in remote camp operations is an asset.
- MAPAQ certification (asset).
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
- Adhere to established safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Positive attitude, honesty, and good judgment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to work independently.
