- Administration of the collective agreement including grievance administration, interpretation and overall compliance
- Responsible for data gathering and generating reports to compile into presentations for corporate KPI reporting
- Coaching, guiding and providing direction to operating management on assigned shift
- Other HR assignments as required related to employment, recruitment, onboarding and training
- Analyze and interpret complex contract and legislative language. Resolve issues within units through interpretation and
- Answer and problem solve employees’ queries about HR-related issues, post any communication policy changes on HR
- Will own the salary onboarding, recruitment, training records, Textron University
- Will own the benefit administration for salary employees including benefit providers, retirement, tribute and others for salary
- Support audits (HR and IATF) by ensuring relevant information is updated and meets requirements
- Support the revision of site-specific company policies by providing input and gathering input from business leaders
- Liaise with partners, such as other HR team members, legal, vendors, site department leadership, etc.
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. KPI, attrition, absenteeism, diversity)
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives such as Wellness, recognition events, engagement etc
- Collaboration in project-orientated tasks
- Improve HR processes and efficiencies
- University Degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Law or equivalent combination of education and
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (including, without limitation, the Employment Standards Act, the Labour Relations Act,
- Knowledge and experience in workplace investigations, including but not limited to, those pertaining to workplace
- Knowledge of a variety of software applications, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft applications– required
