We're seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead the full payroll and benefits cycle for 250 employees across Canada. This role is key to ensuring payroll compliance, employee satisfaction, and continuous process improvement. You'll collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end payroll process and benefits administration across Canada.
- Ensure compliance with federal/provincial laws and internal policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, promotions, terminations, and leaves.
- Act as the point of contact for payroll vendors, benefits providers, and employee inquiries.
- Oversee year-end processes (T4, RL-1, government reporting, taxable benefits).
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and budget reports.
- Improve processes and procedures.Requirements:- 5 years of payroll experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- PCP or CPM certification is an asset
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll and benefits regulations
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Nethris is an asset
