DescriptionOur Langley client is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.**Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000**This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of services related to fencing, portable toilets, and waste management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:
Fencing Management:
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of fencing solutions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality work.
Portable Toilet Management:
  • Supervise the maintenance and sanitation of portable toilet facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Waste Management:
  • Manage waste collection and disposal processes.
  • Monitor waste management contracts and ensure effective and environmentally friendly practices.
Operational Support:
  • Assist the Operations Manager in daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Team Coordination:
  • Lead and support a team of field staff and subcontractors.
  • Provide training and ensure high standards of performance.
  • Customer Relations:
Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to services.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including service delivery, resource utilization, and budget adherence.Successful Candidate:
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in fencing, portable toilets, or waste management
  • Experience relating to the trucking sector will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
