About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract.About the Opportunity
  • Oversee and execute the full-cycle accounting close process, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual activities are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Oversee revenue recognition of operating projects, including invoicing, collection, and posting of cash receipts. Perform standardized monthly journal entries for depreciation, amortization, ARO accretion, accruals, inventory, deferred income, and intercompany
  • Prepare and review supporting schedules and related analyses within the system, ensuring account reconciliations and job cost reports (where applicable) are completed accurately and within required timelines
  • Conduct detailed reviews and perform necessary research related to deliverables to ensure accuracy within established materiality thresholds
  • Lead and oversee the preparation of quarterly IFRS reporting packages and coordinate the annual US GAAP audit for assigned project entities
  • Act as a workflow and technical resource for accountants, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional departments and business partners to ensure transactions are properly reflected in the general ledger in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
About You
  • 3-6 years working in accounting department (mid-size to large company) or in public accounting
  • Month end close reporting and variance analysis
  • Experience with preparing IFRS Reporting packages and oversee the annual US GAAP audit
  • CPA or other designation is preferred
