To be successful, you’ll have expert analytic capabilities and a strong attention to detail. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Global Procurement, have a willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to embrace change.What will you do?The Global Procurement team is responsible buying and negotiating all the Services, Products and Solutions that RBC needs to operate. Within Global Procurement, there is Global Procurement Strategy team who use facts and data to create strategies that influence how we source these products and services. As a member of the Global Procurement Strategy team, the Analyst will be required to support these activities from a data and business insights perspective:
- Collaborate with a data-driven team of analysts and story tellers to support strategic sourcing projects (including category and supplier strategies)
- Support various strategic initiatives (big and small) including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, digital culture transformation and more – it’s an exciting and fast-paced environment and you’ll be required to leverage your problem-solving, communication, project management, change management and creativity skills to be successful
- Compel meaningful outcomes (changes, actions and more) through powerful and effective storytelling that adapts across all mediums and audiences. Partner with stakeholders to manage the impacts and change that may come from strategies you’ve developed.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
- Strong in Microsoft Office applications; particularly in Excel (pivots, complex logic statements, lookups, etc.)
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- A smattering of other technical prowess: MS Access, Power BI, Tableau, surprise us
- Ability to learn and absorb new concepts quickly and apply new knowledge

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
