The OpportunityWe’re working with a well-established environmental services provider specializing in water treatment and dewatering solutions across municipal, industrial, and environmental projects.This is a high-impact, hybrid Project Manager / Estimator role, where you’ll be involved from pre-construction through full project execution. You’ll be an impactful member of the team and play a key role in developing new opportunities, winning work, and delivering projects successfully.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the commercial and execution sides of projects in an organisation in which you can make a real impact.What You’ll Be Responsible For:Estimating & Pre-ConstructionPrepare and submit proposals, tenders, and cost estimatesReview drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for feasibility and scopeClarify requirements with engineers and stakeholders during bid stagesSupport contract development, budgeting, and project planningDevelop cost models, pricing strategies, and bid documentationProject Management & ExecutionManage projects from award through completionPlan, execute, monitor, and close out projects in line with scope, schedule, and budgetCoordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractorsIssue and manage purchase orders, contracts, change orders, and extra workTrack project costs, production, and financial performanceReview daily field reports, timecards, and material usage for accuracyEnsure alignment with project specifications and client expectationsClient & Stakeholder ManagementAct as a key point of contact for:ClientsConsultantsEngineersSubcontractors and suppliersColleaguesLead project meetings and maintain strong communication across all stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to enhance project outcomes and exceed client expectationsSupport team coordination and ensure clear communication across field and office teamsContribute to execution strategies and problem-solving on active projectsStay current on industry trends, regulations, and market opportunitiesHelp build high-performing project teams in dynamic environmentsSafety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to company safety standards and OHSA requirementsPromote a strong safety culture across all project activitiesMaintain accountability for project team well-being and safe executionWhat you’ll need to be successful:Experience & BackgroundProven ability in estimating, project coordination, or project managementUnderstanding of:Drawings and specification processesJob costing and budgetingContract types (unit price, fixed price, cost-plus)Experience in construction, civil, or environmental project environments a nice to have but not critical.Technical & Professional SkillsAbility to develop and present accurate project estimatesHigh level understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes – not a hard requirementStrong negotiation and coordination skillsProficiency with MS Office and estimating / project costing softwareExcellent communication skills across field and executive stakeholders
