The successful candidate will lead piping design execution, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and ensure high-quality project delivery.#LI-HybridThe RoleThe Lead Piping Designer is responsible for leading piping design activities across small to large-scale projects. This includes oversight of 3D modeling, layout development, vendor coordination, and deliverable quality assurance.You will manage schedules and budgets for piping design scope, guide design team members, and serve as a key interface between engineering disciplines, project management, vendors, and construction teams.Our Clients and ProjectsDesigning the future. Communication with clients
Lead small to large projects
Create and develop 3D model using various modeling software.
Create moderate to complex Layout of areas and modules.
Reviewing and comment on vendor information
Adhere to industry codes and standards.
Generate and check detailed drawings and deliverables
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Support on-site construction as required
Deliver high-quality work under time and budget constraint
Manage budgets
Manage Schedule and deliverable dates

Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or related technical discipline
Minimum 10 years of piping design and layout experience
Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects or design teams
Strong knowledge of piping codes and industry standard practices
Proficiency in piping design and 3D modeling software
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to coordinate with high-value centers and multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Legally authorized to work in Canada

Desirable:

Experience supporting upstream oil sands projects
