Salary Range: C$60 - C$70 per HourIntroductionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. This role will focus on designing and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must have secret clearance
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems (Git)
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python)
- Understanding of test data management and environment setup
- Design and execute test strategies
