- Category Management Support
- Assist Category Managers with the preparation of reports, product information, market data, and presentation materials
- Support line review preparation, product transitions, and assortment documentation
- Product Information & eCommerce Coordination
- Manage the flow of product data, attributes, and assets to the eCommerce team to ensure accuracy and timely updates
- Track progress of product setup and work closely with cross-functional partners to resolve data gaps or delays
- Conduct routine audits to ensure consistency between in-store and online product information
- Drop Ship Category Execution
- Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and execution of drop ship assortments
- Ensure vendor-provided information is complete, accurate, and aligned with merchandising needs
- Monitor performance of extended aisle products
- Assist CMs with creation of product and vendor knowledge training for internal teams
- File & Data Management
- Maintain inventory tracking files, ensuring accuracy of item status, availability, and key metrics
- Own the upkeep of marketing files, including promotional product lists and calendars
- Update and manage cost sheets, ensuring timely communication of price changes and cost updates
- Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for store communication-distributing merchandising updates, product changes, product knowledge material, and execution expectations
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, eCommerce, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on product readiness and execution timelines
- Operational Support
- Assist with item setup, maintenance, and system updates as required
- Support merchandising initiatives with accurate documentation and follow-through
- Troubleshoot product-related issues and escalate when needed
- Bachelor degree in merchandising or related field is an asset
- 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or a related field
- Experience with product information management or merchandising systems is an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to navigate fast-paced environments and shifting priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing large sets of data
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Strong problem-solving abilities
