Job OverviewWe are hiring an experienced and local Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in the Cold Lake, AB area. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of truck and trailer configurations, including truck and wagon, clam, dump, and end dump units. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to meet operational demands.Responsibilities
Operate truck and wagon, clam, dump, and end dump trucks safely and efficiently
Perform gravel hauling and spreading as required
Load trucks and trailers independently using a loader
Ensure proper and safe dumping procedures at all job sites
Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver log books
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers when needed
Travel to various job locations as required
Comply with all company safety policies and regulatory requirements
Work extended hours and weekends as required
Requirements
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Proven experience operating Super B, clam, and end dump equipment
Gravel hauling and spreading experience is considered a strong asset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs
Physically fit and capable of handling demanding work conditions
Flexible schedule with availability for long hours and weekend work
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
