- Provide world class client service to our valued clients
- Work closely with Portfolio Manager and Team to ensure efficient business processes
- Completion and monitoring of client documentation and day-to-day cashflow/transfer needs
- Follow-up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
- Maintain client accounts by reviewing daily activity online and on applicable reports
- Utilize contact management system for daily task management
- Book client meetings and maintain daily schedule of Portfolio Manager
- Investigate and resolve inquiries related to accounts
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
- Strong time management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course (“CSC”) & Conduct & Practices Handbook (“CPH”) and obtaining Investment Representative (“IR”) license within 12 months
- The ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of experience in the investment or banking industry working as Sales Assistant / Client Service Associate / Associate / etc.
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Resident of the greater Vancouver area and legally able to work in Canada
- Good understanding of fixed income and equity markets
- Proficiency in Excel
