
Commercial Boiler Technician

- • Manages their time effectively while handling all requests from their clients. Is responsible for any and all inventory of parts in their possession.
- Microsoft WORD, Excel usability, proficiency.
- Completion of all necessary billing information on a daily basis and submitted as per guidelines.
- Liaises with the sales department on technical matters.
- Communicates with cross functional departments to ensure complete Client satisfaction.
- Actively promotes the Tundra Preventative Maintenance service available to clients including promotion sales of spare parts.
- Identify potential opportunities for new equipment sales.
- Responds to miscellaneous requests/inquiries, especially those related to warranty items and service related issues.
- Completes expenses and submits in a timely manner.
- Complies with all company policy and procedures.
- Perform maintenance of commercial hot water and steam boilers.
- Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of commercial boilers and related equipment.
- Perform minor repairs of commercial boilers and auxiliary equipment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.
- Education requirements could include;
o Electrician / Power Engineer 4th
o HV Technician / "A" Gasfitter
o Plumber with Burner Control Systems experience
o Power Engineer 3rd with some Instrumentation experience
o Reading/Understanding complex wiring diagrams
o Proven experience with high gas/dual fuel input appliances over 5,000,000 BTUH
o Fuel oil (diesel) firing operations/repair experience
o Understanding of hydronic, steam systems (low and high pressure)
- This is a long-term position, factory and in-house training is provided. Some out-of-town travel is required, as is rotating 24 hour on-call
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
