We’re proud to have been recognized by GamesIndustry.biz as one of the Best Places to Work in Canada’s video game industry in 2021, 2022 and 2023.And the reason is simple, we take care of our people:4.5-day work weeks, year-round (Friday afternoons off)A truly flexible work model: 100% remote, hybrid or in-studio — your choiceUp to 7 weeks of vacation per year, plus sick days and personal days — your well-being mattersComprehensive group insurance starting on day oneRRSP contributionA $400 allowance for the purchase of ergonomic equipmentLife at the studioAccess to chair massages, fresh fruit and snacks, a gym, and sports activitiesRegular presentations of projects and updates — we keep our team informed about what's happening at FrimaTight-knit, inclusive, and supportive teams, even when working remotelyCome discover the rest for yourself!Job DescriptionWhat your weeks will look likeDesigning intuitive, player-centered interaction experiences for a mobile platform;Building effective user flows that support immersion and smooth in-game navigation;Defining UX directions aligned with game design goals, player needs, and technical constraints;Delivering UX recommendations and presentations to the project team and external partners;Validating UX flows directly within the Unreal Engine to analyze interactive components;Collaborating with game design, programming, data analytics, and UI teams to promote best practices in UX design.QualificationsWhat we’re looking forCollege degree in UX design, interaction design, ergonomics, graphic design, cognitive psychology, or any other related field, combined with relevant experience;Minimum of five (5) years of experience in UX design, including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UX documentation;Excellent client-facing skills;Hands-on experience in the video game industry, particularly on projects using the Unreal Engine;Experience with mobile platforms;Proficiency with design tools such as Axure, Figma, or Adobe XD;Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
