Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with company objectives and support ongoing growth
Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding activities
Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures
Assist with the administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity in HRIS and payroll systems
Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications
Coordinate training and development activities, tracking employee progress and program participation
Ensure compliance with Alberta employment standards, health and safety regulations, and company guidelines
Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at building scalable HR infrastructure
Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with reporting, audits, and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment
Working knowledge of Alberta employment legislation and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS or payroll systems
CPHR designation or working toward certification is considered an asset
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field
