- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies;
- Coordinate and Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including historical research, site inspections, oversight of remediation and drilling contractors, borehole drilling and monitor well installations as well as soil, soil vapour and groundwater sampling programs as well as slug tests;
- Preparation of detailed field notes, data analysis and evaluation;
- Participate in technical report and proposal writing; and
- Develop and maintain client and subcontractor relationships.
- College diploma or University degree in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or an environmental related field;
- Experience with drilling and test pitting, collection of soil and groundwater samples an asset;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform detailed analysis in various software programs;
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain Security Clearances at the Provincial and Federal level;
- Possession of a valid Province of Ontario driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle for work related purposes; and
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for health and safety.
