As a Senior Delivery Technical Architect, you will transform innovative designs into practical solutions, guiding projects from their initial conception through to production. Define, document, and explain the technology stack and direction of new solutions
Assess and recommend changes to existing products from a technology standpoint
Envision and identify the change management required upon implementation and support processes
Determine options and alternative solutions to business and technical problems or opportunities
Define the re-usable architectural deliverables for adding new IT capabilities
Provide technical and delivery guidance to resources throughout the project implementation
Work with project managers to lead the definition of technical project tasks and estimates by way of meeting with the technical team to solicit this information
Provide the project managers with technical implementation expertise
Oversee and manage the quality of project delivery to ensure client satisfaction by prioritizing and managing client expectations to successful delivery
Work with the client and project team to continuously drive the technical deliverables to satisfy the approved solution
Produce architectural artifacts such as technology reference models, business capability models, roadmaps, landscape diagrams, solution overviews and solution/technical designs
Lead and facilitate requirements validation, solution review, and delivery of work packages to the client
Provide a single point of contact with the delivery account management team on technical issues and root cause
Lead solution and technical workshops and design sessions
Develop proposed solutions and work with the technical team to develop and deploy the solution
Act as a liaison between the business and technical project team members
Educate clients on the risks, value, and trade offs of a solution to ensure they are aligned
Determine appropriate platforms/services for deployment of both cloud and on-premises environments
Lead the team in high level design of roles, responsibilities, skills that are required for the client to sustain/support the solution once it has been delivered (i.e. transition to sustainment team)
What you bring to the table:
10+ years of industry experience with a broad knowledge/understanding of IT resources and methodologies as well as experience in the technical implementation of solutions designed to specific security and scale requirements
An infrastructure background with experience in security, networking, cloud, server, storage, backup, firewall, switch, wireless, and VPN design and implementation
Demonstrated experience leading technical project teams to deliver solutions
Experience delivering solutions requiring information security, privacy, and compliance
Experience delivering on-premises to cloud migration solutions is an asset
Outstanding leadership and communication skills
Ability to apply critical thinking skills to fast paced environments
Experience delivering solution presentations to business executives and technical stakeholders
Experience assisting in creating business cases, lobbying for solution acceptance as well as directing a team through solution definition, development, and implementation
