Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Senior Project Manager-Contaminated Sites!Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of EXP's Environmental team, based in the Burnaby office.What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Proposal preparation for a variety of clients (local, provincial, federal);
- Independently developing and managing a portfolio of environmental investigation projects (Phase I, II ESA's/Stage 1, 2 PSIs II, Detailed Site Investigation, Remediation);
- Supervision of junior and intermediate environmental professionals;
- Working closely with the discipline lead to build the environmental consulting business in Western Canada;
- Review of project budgets, expenses to ensure profitable project performance;
- Project planning, implementation, coordinating fieldwork (in town and out of town);
- Management of provincial and/or federal contaminated sites assessments, site remediation, coordination with risk assessors (human or ecological); and,
- Preparation and review of reports for due diligence investigations, and submissions to the BC Ministry of Environment & Parks for regulatory instruments (COC, AiP, Determination).
- University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geoscience;
- Minimum of 8-12 years of environmental consulting experience following registration in BC as a fully qualified professional (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag.). Candidates with additional experience will be considered;
- Proven leadership capabilities, fostering open communication, modeling a positive team culture, and championing collective success;
- Demonstrated history of successfully leading and delivering a diverse portfolio of small, medium, and large projects with strong financial performance;
- Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and project partners;
- Ability to lead effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and team morale;
- Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle;
- Excellent written communication and the ability to present technical information clearly and persuasively; and,
- Strong business development acumen, including the ability to identify opportunities, advance client relationships, and support strategic growth initiatives.
