Job Title: Cloud Engineering - Master-Level InternshipLevel: Master's Level InternshipDepartment: IT and SecurityDuration: 520 Hours (approximately 3 months)Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto)Compensation: Hourly ($32)The Vosyn internship is unique. Remuneration is equivalent to $32.00 CAD per hour payable in common shares of the Corporation at the then fair market value. For greater clarity, NO cash in-hand (in hourly rate or salary) will be paid to the Intern. We invite you to be part of our journey and leave your imprint on the future of AI.About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cloud Engineering Intern, with experience in building, scaling and maintaining cloud Platform Solutions to join our team. This position is ideal for a Master's level student with a keen interest in cloud computing and infrastructure. As a Cloud Engineering Intern, you will work with our cloud engineering team to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions that support our business and technical objectives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Work with Google Cloud Platform to deploy and manage resources.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Document cloud architecture and operational procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging Cloud, DevOps and MLOps practices.
About You:
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master's program in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field. Master's program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps
  • Some understanding of MLOps
  • Experience with GCP is preferred (AWS and Azure is acceptable)
  • Experience in Kubernetes orchestration
  • Experience in Terraform scripting
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Passionate about working at a startup
