- Your words, on our website and on our packaging, will help to educate and inspire our guests. We create the Product Education materials (Why We Made This) and name all products
- Write clear, persuasive, and original copy within a defined brand tone of voice for our seasonal Why We Made This product descriptions and other special projects
- Work in close-knit partnerships with design and merchants, while checking in with our friends in compliance and legal
- Be a subject matter expert for all things product to partners across the business
- Embrace feedback and direction from a Managing Editor and your peers
- Clearly articulate and present ideas to generate excitement
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment on several calendar tracks at once
- Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar and work with a style guide
- Keep up to date with popular culture and trends, specifically focusing on athletic and lifestyle apparel
- Schedule working sessions with cross-functional partners and meticulously follow up in emails and meetings about specific details and project nuances
- Consider the guest's journey, whether they're in store or online
- 3+ years of professional copywriting experience
- A folio of work that demonstrates experience in product education
- A writing degree or diploma is required
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse writing demands
- A self-starter able to follow up to acquire precise information and then to utilize sound judgment when responding to nuanced project needs
- Demonstration of being able to write in a brand's voice• Clear communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
- Experience and confidence working with content management systems, databases, and spreadsheets to store, review, organize, and deliver written information
- A positive, can-do approach to creative problem solving
- Experience in proofing dielines is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of writing, grammar, punctuation, and SEO best practices

The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000-$86,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
