This role emphasizes leadership, strategic oversight, and the ability to foster long-term client and supplier partnerships.#LI-HybridThe RoleThe Senior Construction Manager will lead all construction management aspects of EPCM pipeline projects, from planning and execution through commissioning and closeout. Acting as a senior leader and subject matter expert, you will provide strategic oversight, ensure adherence to engineering designs and regulatory requirements, and guide multidisciplinary teams toward successful project delivery.This position requires strong commercial acumen, risk management expertise, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in dynamic and remote environments.Our Clients and ProjectsDesigning the future.   • Lead and oversee all CM aspects of pipeline projects, from planning and execution to commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering designs, project plans, codes, permits, and regulations.
  • Serve as the SME, establishing long-term partnerships and representing the firm's expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and transparent communication.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for project optimization, efficiency improvements, and additional services for clients.
  • Conduct risk management assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Mentor and manage project teams, fostering alignment with goals, standards, and best practices.
  • Support business development initiatives by engaging clients, understanding emerging needs, and positioning the firm for repeat or expanded work.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of EPCM experience, including pipeline or large multi-discipline projects
  • Proven experience leading complex construction programs
  • Strong background in regulatory compliance, QA/QC practices, and HSE standards
  • Advanced knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and risk management
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement and stakeholder management
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to travel and work in remote or challenging environments
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
Desirable:
  • PMP, CCM, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience managing multi-project portfolios
Work Environment
  • This role includes a combination of office-based collaboration with growth, engineering, and project teams, and field-based leadership upon project award. Active on-site presence will be required during execution phases. Travel and extended site assignments may be required depending on project needs.
