Shift available: Rotating Shift (Day 7:00 am -3:15pm - Afternoon 3:00 pm to 11:15 pm - Night 11:00pm - 7:15 am)

- Packaging Operation and Risk management
- Operate multi-function machinery and process control equipment through control panels, computer terminals and other miscellaneous control systems to receive, transfer, grind, batch/blend, pellet/extrude, bag and ship animal feed/petfood safely and efficiently
- Maintain shift- & process logs as well as several other lean management related documents
- Observe gauges, monitors etc. to ensure compliance with critical to quality specifications
- Set up and adjust processing and packaging equipment to efficiently and safely manufacture animal feed/petfood
- Perform miscellaneous operator care related maintenance duties as well as aid troubleshooting processes guided by maintenance technicians
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting 50 lbs kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Prior experience in production related work
- Previous forklift experience
- Proven ability to manage compliance with Environment, Health & Safety and Operations standards and regulations
- Knowledge of inventory control, quality management, operating efficiency, agricultural experience or specialized knowledge of grain handling and crop input products
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, service, and troubleshoot machinery
- Understand of the animal feed/petfood manufacturing process and process control system
- High School diploma or Equivalent
