Possibility of teleworkingThe instrumentation and control technician ensures the programming and calibration of electrical and electronic instruments. He ensures that the necessary documentation is accessible and updated in order to avoid construction and repair errors. He also ensures the understanding of the wiring plans and the arrangement of the equipment in the automation panels.Main tasks:
- Draw the plans and diagrams of the panels, general arrangements, connection plans and diagrams of piping and instrumentation.
- Configure and calibrate the measuring instruments.
- Prepare engineering service submissions and offers.
- Respond to service calls.
- Create functional descriptions, plan lists, cable lists and material lists.
- Project management.
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in industrial electronics or in electrical engineering technique - automation and control or Bachelor's degree (BAC) in automated production engineering.
- Computer science:
- Autocad
- Programming different PLC languages (Schneider and Allen Bradley an asset)
- FUNCTION BLOCK
- LADDER
- GRAFCET
- TEXT
- Operator interface programming (Wonderware and Ignition an asset)
- Python
- TEXT
- Knowledge of automation, 120V minimum power electronics, 120V control electronics and less, electricity standards, control networks.
- Knowledge of the mining field (an asset).
- Listening to clients and having a good client approach.
