Team Lead - Rebar Production,The Team Lead – Rebar Fabrication & Production is responsible for supervising daily operations within the rebar fabrication facility. This role ensures production targets are met while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient workflow. The Team Lead provides direction to production staff and supports continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & OperationsSupervise daily rebar fabrication activities including cutting, bending, and assembly.Ensure production schedules are met according to project timelines.Monitor workflow and allocate tasks efficiently to team members.Coordinate with production planning and dispatch teams.Quality ControlEnsure fabricated rebar meets project specifications and drawings.Conduct routine inspections of finished products.Identify and correct production errors promptly.Health & SafetyEnforce workplace safety policies and procedures.Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.Ensure proper use of PPE and safe machine operation.Report and document incidents as required.Team LeadershipLead, motivate, and train fabrication crew members.Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.Assist in onboarding and training of new hires.Maintain a positive and productive work environment.Equipment & MaintenanceOversee proper operation of bending and cutting machinery.Coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance department.Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working condition.Reporting & DocumentationMaintain production reports and daily logs.Track material usage and minimize waste.Report production metrics and issues to management.Qualifications & Requirements3–5 years of experience in rebar fabrication or steel production.Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.Strong knowledge of fabrication equipment and safety standards.Good communication and leadership skills.Physically capable of working in a manufacturing environment.Working ConditionsIndustrial/warehouse environment.Exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and steel materials.May require evenings/ weekends depending on production demands.
