Project Governance: Lead and manage high-priority, issue-driven projects related to claims processing, fund accounting, and complex payments.Process Optimization: Analyze current-state processes to develop and implement recommendations that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Financial Integrity: Oversee the disbursement strategy, ensuring proper accounting for payouts while maintaining necessary financial reserves.Stakeholder Management: Present findings, project updates, and strategic solutions to senior leadership and external partners.Framework Development: Build project timelines and governance structures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, legally defensible outcomes.Qualifications
xperience: 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or advisory services.Education: University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent designation is a strong asset).Project Expertise: Proven track record managing large-scale, high-risk special projects across cross-functional teams.Technical Proficiency: Significant experience with ERPs (SAP, Salesforce, or Oracle) and advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.Language: Full professional fluency in both English and French is required.Specialized Knowledge: A strong understanding of Indigenous matters and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.Summary
