Senior Quicksight Developer

- Evangelize QuickSight best practices for dashboard development and ensure adherence across projects
- Coach and guide business users to build self-service capabilities; strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential
- Design, develop, and maintain complex QuickSight dashboards, including custom visualizations using Highcharts
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful visualizations
- Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability for large datasets
- Translate business needs into intuitive, user-friendly data products
- Ensure data integrity and implement visualization standards
- Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach and the right attitude in team interactions
- Contribute to BI best practices and mentor junior team members when needed
- 5+ years of experience in data visualization and BI development
- Advanced proficiency in Amazon QuickSight and Tableau
- Strong understanding of data products—how they are designed, built, and consumed
- Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and data integration concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with other BI tools and data visualization frameworks
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms – AWS preferred
