Apply to Deerhurst today, Muskoka’s preferred place to work and play.Position SummaryThe Guest & Host Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, professional, and reliable transportation for both resort guests and resort hosts (employees). Drivers operate scheduled shuttle routes and on-demand services throughout the resort and designated off-site locations.This role requires flexibility, strong customer service skills, and the ability to alternate between guest shuttle and host shuttle assignments based on operational needs and scheduling.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate resort shuttle vehicles to transport guests and hosts to and from designated on- and off-site locationsRotate between Guest Shuttle and Host Shuttle assignments as scheduledProvide courteous, professional, and friendly service at all timesAssist guests with luggage, packages, and mobility needs when requiredEnsure shuttle vehicles are clean, fueled, and in safe operating conditionConduct pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report concernsFollow all resort policies, traffic laws, and safety proceduresMaintain clear communication with Guest Services regarding schedules, delays, or issuesMonitor surroundings and report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditionsSupport peak operational periods, events, and seasonal demandsSkills, Abilities & AttributesStrong customer service and communication skillsProfessional, courteous, and safety-focused demeanorAbility to work independently and follow schedules accuratelyStrong situational awareness and decision-making skillsFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentComfortable interacting with both guests and employeesAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureWillingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidaysQualificationsValid Ontario Class F Driver’s Licence (or higher – Class B or Z considered an asset)Clean driving record and acceptable driver’s abstractPrevious driving or guest service experience preferredKnowledge of safe driving practices and passenger transport standardsAbility to pass required background and licensing checksPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, and drivingAbility to lift and carry up to 40 lbsAbility to assist passengers with luggage or mobility needsComfortable working in varying weather conditionsThe Perks for All Team MembersGain experience in a fun environmentFree resort pass access: complimentary access to all on site activities and amenities, pool, gym and more!Hotel, retail and restaurant discountsMeet new people and work within a great teamVisa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in CanadaThe above job description is not intended to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills or efforts associated with or expected of the role, but are intended to accurately reflect principal job elements.
