Eligibility: Local candidates currently residing in Iqaluit, NU onlyThe Storehouse Bar & Grill, located inside the Frobisher Inn, is seeking an energetic and reliable Food & Beverage Service Assistant to join our team. This is a dynamic position that combines the duties of a busser, coat check attendant, food runner, and other tasks as assigned.Key Responsibilities:
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area
- Assist with coat check service, ensuring guests’ belongings are handled with care
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including floors, counters, and equipment
- Provide support to servers and bartenders during peak service times
- Assist with restocking supplies and other duties as assigned by the General Manager
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience an asset, but not required — we’re happy to train the right candidate
- Strong teamwork skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
