- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of tours, FITs, conferences, and weddings as per contract
- Oversee prompt collection of all accounts, including advance deposits, cancellations, and prepaid accounts
- Maintain Aging of Accounts Receivable within acceptable levels using effective and professional collection methods
- Maintain Guest Ledger and Deposit Ledger accuracy
- Process credit applications and establish appropriate credit limits in accordance with hotel credit policy
- Liaise with Sales & Conferences on estimated revenues and deposit schedules
- Participate as the Accounting representative in pre-conference meetings with clients
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies thoughtfully and professionally
- Reconcile assigned AR accounts and complete month-end tasks, including group commission calculations
- Train and mentor the Accounts Receivable Generalist, providing structured coaching and performance guidance
- Conduct monthly credit meetings with Accounting, Senior Management, Front Office/Reservations, Banquets, and Sales
- Contribute to and implement departmental operational improvement initiatives
- Ensure full adherence and compliance with corporate and local SOPs
- Exercise authority to ensure credit policies, procedures, and timelines are consistently upheld
- Post-secondary education in Accounting
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality/Tourism is an asset
- 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience, ideally within a hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of Oracle PMS Cloud is an asset
- Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Thoughtful, analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience leading credit meetings and cross-department financial reviews
- Experience managing group commissions and large-scale event billing
- Exposure to audit preparation and compliance reviews
- Previous mentorship or team development experience within Finance
- Delivering high-quality products and services
