The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will oversee daily AR operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and cash application processes. This role provides leadership and guidance to the AR team while strengthening internal controls and driving process improvements. Working cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting, the position supports efficient order-to-cash workflows and scalable financial operations.Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team in daily operations, including billing, collections, and cash application
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all AR processes and reporting
- Monitor and improve order-to-cash workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
- Support system enhancements and process automation initiatives
- Analyze AR metrics and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement
- Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring timely collections
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Finance Operations
- Experience leading or mentoring Accounts Receivable team members
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and AR best practices
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606
- Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives
- Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset
This is a full-time permanent position based in Burnaby, British Columbia, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two onsite days per week.
