- Act as the technical specialist for the Seats mechanical system.
- Transform customer demands into engineering content that is doable and realistic.
- Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers on daily basis.
- Coordinate all stakeholders, gain commitment and leads for results.
- Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.
- Support Request For Change (RFC). Present RFC at change board and communicate with all stakeholders of a production, configuration, compliance and/or other problem and request actions to change documents, drawings, specifications, nomenclature etc.
- Be in direct contact with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
- Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.
- Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.
- You have a College or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- You have revelent technical experience in interior completion; experience on Global & Challenger Platform and Seating Design or Integration is an asset.
- You have solid experience working with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel and Word.
- You have the understanding of product structure and relational modeling.
- You are well organized and are project oriented.
- You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
- You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
- You also demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting your commitments with success.
