This is an entry level architectural design role. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to take on a range of tasks from helping on construction drawings to developing presentation material. We work in all sectors, with a focus on education, healthcare, civic, commercial interiors, and industrial work – we’re interested in someone who wants to take on a variety of work.Your Key ResponsibilitiesConducts basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, building program and other similar material.Supports project team in development of design documentation.Assists in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.Assist in research of materials and building systemsYour Capabilities and CredentialsBasic understanding of Revit or AutoCAD and the use of it as a design tool.Basic experience with the most recent design software (Sketch-up, Photoshop, and Illustrator, etc.) is preferred.Basic experience with design equipment (3D printer, laser cutter, etc.) is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively.Able to participate and collaborate in project team setting.Able to engage in creative and critical thought.Able to interpret basic sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material.Education & Experience
  • Enrolled in an Architecture program at a university or college.

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
