TasksAs the Aircraft Engine Mechanic, you will perform the following duties:
  • Maintain, service and repair engines (professionally and on time) within the scope of the qualification/authorization provided for this purpose
  • Carry out borescoping work and maintenance-supporting activities on engines using the required test procedures if authorized to do so
  • Document work carried out in accordance with existing qualifications and authorizations
  • Conscientious handling of operating resources; ensuring order, cleanliness and standards in the workplace
  • Support projects
  • Take on special tasks
  • All other duties as assigned or required

  • Completed technical vocational training (preferably as an aircraft mechanic specializing in engine technology)
  • Existing SEM qualifications and many years of professional experience in engine overhaul
  • Good knowledge of internal processes and interrelationships in the field of engine overhaul
  • Good knowledge of company regulations
  • Fluency in English language
  • Good IT skills
  • Clear verbal and written expression
  • Ability to work in a team
  • High flexibility and independence
  • Willingness to work at home and abroad (e.g. AST assignments, mobile service, etc.)
  • Willingness to under go further professional training
  • Must be able to work shifts
  • Valid class B driving license
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
  • CV/Resume and Cover Letter required
