Employment Type: Full-Time, RegularAbout the RoleThe Assistant Rentals Manager supports the Rentals Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Rentals Department, ensuring efficient service delivery, strong customer satisfaction, and overall operational performance.This role plays a key part in coordinating rental operations, including front office activities, fleet preparation, housekeeping, and ensuring rental units are fully ready for customer use. The Assistant Rentals Manager works closely with the Rentals Manager and team to maintain smooth operations, support staff, and deliver an excellent customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support
- Support the Rentals Manager in daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in managing the rental fleet and supplies
- Oversee front office activities, fleet preparation, housekeeping, and overall unit readiness
- Ensure rental units meet quality standards prior to customer delivery
- Assist with customer orientations and rental introductions
- Coordinate with the PDI team on maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and day-to-day team leadership
- Support Housekeeping and PDI teams to maintain operational standards
- Provide guidance to team members to ensure efficient workflows
- Promote teamwork and a positive, collaborative work environment
- Address customer and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Support resolution of customer issues to ensure a positive rental experience
- Maintain high service standards across all customer interactions
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and operational reporting
- Assist in monitoring performance and identifying process improvements
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements
- Provide support during peak rental seasons and high-volume periods
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in operations, service, inspection, or production environments
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on approach
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in hospitality, rental operations, or customer service is an asset
- German and/or Dutch language skills are considered an asset
- Frequent interaction with team members, management, and customers
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs
- $52,000 – $62,400 annually, based on relevant RV industry experience and qualifications
