Receiving Clerk

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Coordinate receiving inspections and accurately record inspection data.
- Receive purchase orders for both businesses.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in purchase orders and receipts.
- Generate and apply customer specific labels as required.
- Provide backup support to the logistics team.
- Investigate and report on shipment discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Support inventory accuracy initiatives in collaboration with the inventory analyst.
- Manage the company's mail and parcel program, including FedEx, UPS and Purolator shipments.
- High school diploma, or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a receiving or logistics role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle discrepancies effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
