Job SummaryMandate:An Administrative Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the faculty and/or department functions efficiently and effectively by managing administrative processes and procedures, supervising staff, and coordinating with other departments and colleagues as needed.Objectives:
Improve current processes and optimize procedures to ensure the Department operates smoothly and effectively.
Oversee office operations and planning, financial management and assistance to the Department Chair.
Support the Department leadership to meet long-term planning and academic goals.
Supervise administrative staff including recruiting, performance development, coaching, and workload management.
