In this role, you will contribute to building a new website platform, dealer portal, and e-commerce systems. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with business stakeholders and the product owner, review business specifications for features, and determine technical solutions to meet feature requirements
  • Provide accurate estimates on development effort for new or updated features, as well as system bugs
  • Complete unit testing on all implemented features and bug fixes, prior to passing to QA
  • Troubleshoot application issues on multiple platforms, including integration, REST services, and web applications
  • Provide the business with technical guidance on digital solutions
  • Participate and contribute to sprint planning and daily stand ups
  • Support marketing and business initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js, including:
  • React Hooks – useState, useEffect, useContext
  • React Router for client-side routing
  • State management tools – Redux, Zustand or Recoil
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with SQL Server – data design, stored procedures, indexing
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
  • Experience with CI/CD tools e.g. GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of JIRA or similar issue tracking tools
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries e.g. Styled Components, Emotion
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and rich-client application development
  • Automotive industry experience or interest is a plus
