MissionThe Digital Solutions and Advanced Data group is looking to add a Solutions Architect to its team.We are looking for a qualified professional with more than 7 years of relevant experience. The candidate will be selected for his/her technical expertise and will become a reference person for projects related to this expertise. The candidate's motivation and curiosity will enable him/her to develop professionally and progress in an environment conducive to career development. Entrepreneurship is a key value at CIMA+.The Digital Solutions and Advanced Data group is currently carrying out a number of projects in the fields of intelligent mobility, transport electrification, smart cities, telecommunications technologies and systems development.The candidate will have experience and expertise in the areas identified below. The fields of application in which we work are at the convergence of IT and TO technologies (operational technologies such as industrial automation).The candidate will be called upon to play a diversified role within the group, and will be able to put his or her expertise to good use, in addition to developing his or her skills within the team.Primary Responsibilities
  • Understand the business and technological requirements of the overall solution
  • Learn about enterprise architecture
  • Prepare functional descriptions, concepts of operation, IT requirements and development standards
  • Develop the architecture of solutions and systems, taking technological platforms into account
  • Design an application architecture taking into account existing and future application assets
  • Collaborate and support other team members in the development of concepts and deliverables
  • Simplify and aggregate complex content for customers
  • Participate in the implementation of the solution, identify deliverables and ensure their compliance with quality standards
  • Certify and ensure the quality of solution projects
  • Make presentations of the deliverables produced
  • Assessing and analyzing new technologies
  • Support customers during system development and construction, validate systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Automated Production Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant training and experience.
  • Over 7 years' relevant experience in operating systems engineering, solutions and systems architecture
  • Knowledge and interest in technologies associated with :
  • Azure cloud computing environment
  • Application integration and data distribution technologies (Azure Event grid, Azure service bus, Talend, Mulesoft)
  • API management service
  • Protocols and communication
  • IoT, Big Data
  • Python and C# programming
  • TOGAF and Archimate enterprise architecture certification (an asset)
  • Consulting experience (an asset)
  • Member of the OIQ as an engineer (an asset)
  • Bilingualism in French and English, as you will be communicating with colleagues across Canada in both languages.
