Trouble shoots, maintains and repairs equipment and systems as directed by their supervisor. Shift work required. Equipment may include hospital clinical equipment as well as knowledge of plumbing, basic electricity, and carpentry. Grounds work such as mowing, upkeep and winter snow removal as well.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Fourth Class Standardized Power Engineers certificate from the NS Department of Labour and Advanced Education
- Five years' experience preferred, after obtaining Fourth Class certificate in operation and maintenance of a high pressure steam plant.
- If the above is not available we will consider: two year' experience after obtaining Fourth Class certificate in operation and maintenance of a high pressure steam plant.
- Must be able to work independently
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
