The successful candidate will have the following;· Two plus years of experience with the Raiser's Edge database and NXT preferred. Familiarity with fundraising software or other data management software, including Avocado CRM, is beneficial.· A strong understanding of fundraising and experience in data management, office management and/or fundraising administration· An understanding and respect for the confidential nature of fund development and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality· Ability to work and think independently and manage tight deadlines with a high attention to detail· Proven data entry skills and computer literacy including all Microsoft applications and databases· Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills· Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search· Three professional referencesWhat does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?Duties and responsibilities include:· Manage and coordinate the Raiser's Edge donor database software, ensuring donor records and all data entered is relevant and accurate, and that YMCA Calgary is optimizing the functionality of the software· Complete gift processing procedures, including inputting gifts into database, gift receipting and thank you letters· Manage and deliver timely gift, monthly, annual and campaign reporting and ensure it meets requirements of end users and supports fundraising strategies· Correspond with donors regarding tax receipt and other administrative questions· Coordinate set up, licensing and reporting for all AGLC fundraising initiatives, including implementation of third-party software such as Rafflebox, Tip Tap and Moneris machines· Collaborate with YMCA membership staff regarding member donations and inquiries· Ensure gift processing complies with YMCA Calgary Fund Development Policies and CRA requirements· Maintain accurate documentation of Raiser's Edge functionality gift processing procedures· Support training on Raiser's Edge functionality with Fund Development staff and gift acceptance requirements to all staff and volunteers· Provide support for special events related to fund development and YMCA Calgary· Work with the Accounting and Payroll departments to ensure optimum efficiency of all related systems and to ensure accurate and timely completion of reconciliationsWhat qualities do we look for in YMCA Calgary Staff and Volunteers?Our employees embody the YMCA values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.
